The Ups & Downs of Hosting a Masterclass

If you’re feeling down in the dumps because something “didn’t work” I would encourage you to revisit what you’re doing and how you’re doing it. Being a coach and have an online business is rather straight forward and simple. The work comes in showing up and showing up consistently - that is the hard part. It’s just as “easy” to show up as it is to not show up.

I’m here to help YOU grow! In fact that’s exactly what my upcoming group coaching program is ALL about. It’s time for you to step into YOUR power and grow the business you truly desire! If you want to know MORE about my group program and other ways you can work with me make sure you sign up for my upcoming masterclass on April 20 called Unlock Time Freedom!

How to Start a Podcast in 90 minutes

It got to my turn in the round robin, I unmuted my zoom mic and said, “I’m Maggie, Your Business Bestie & Chaos to Clarity Coach and I’m starting a podcast this year!” Instead of crickets I got in influx of messages and people unmuting to ask, “oh! Yes! How can I support you? and How can I be a guest???”

This started my journey into podcasting - and here’s how I set things up in under 90 minutes!

How to Maintain Consistency in Business

This doesn’t mean you are scheduling every minute of every day - in fact, quite the opposite. You are scheduling your time in a way that allows for white space. For time freedom. For spaces that can be filled with more client meetings, more time to create fun things that you love to give your clients or maybe even more time for you to do something like take a nap, get a massage or hang out with a friend. Consistency in business stems from consistency in your schedule.

Work Smarter, Not Harder

Have you been wondering when the “right” time to consider coaching is? Maybe you’ve been seeing other entrepreneurs you know hiring coaches and making these huge strides forward. Or you’ve been seeing coaches come across your for you page (or even sneaking into your DM’s) and you’re wondering if it’s really WORTH it?! Can you ACTUALLY work smarter not harder like some of those coaches say?!?!?!?!

What is coaching REALLY like?

Will things change overnight?!

Maybe. Maybe not. Things might change and be great and then you fall off the bandwagon. Then you get to talk to your coach, they help you right back up and give you the space to explore what’s going on. When you explore what’s going on and why the wheels fell off right away, chances are the next time will be a bit easier and you’ll stick with it a bit longer and a bit longer.

Changing your thought patterns is really like riding a bike or walking. No one gets it “right” the first time. But as you explore you learn what works and doesn’t work.

Is Entrepreneurship Lonely?

Is Entrepreneurship Lonely?

Over the next few years I started learning more about the art of networking and how important it can be for a business owner. And important in more than just being able to pass leads/referrals. Important in the way that you can be around people who are in the same boat as you. And essentially the “water cooler” or “coffee pot” conversations that happened at work now happened at networking meetings and galas and events. Being able to connect with others to say, “I’m having these issues.” and hear, “oh, me too! I thought I was the only one!” was a relief. Having someone to talk to about business is so good for any entrepreneur.

Overcome Fear in Business

From there we worked through her thought that she’s “never going to make another dollar.” And by the end of that conversation she had come up with some new ideas to market and network for her business. We also discussed ways that she can work through those intrusive thoughts of, “I’m never going to make another dollar” and turn those thoughts into, “I make more money every day, money comes in all ways and I am open to receiving it.”

Your thoughts are so powerful.

Scarcity in Business

We are often faced with all sorts of choices in our businesses - from things like what colors are part of branding to how much should products and services cost to what is the exit strategy.

All of these things can bring up fear and uncertainty. And, even if you don’t feel scared all of the time, that fear and uncertainty that’s on the back burned can wreak havoc at the worst times.

Like the middle of the night at 2am when you wake up in a cold sweat because you’re not sure how or where your next month’s rent payment will come from. And then your brain serves up things like, “maybe you should change your brand colors. Maybe that logo IS a little crooked on the door. Maybe adding more/less to your offerings was a bad choice, what if no one buys?!.”

But here’s the best part - when you have a coach, you get to talk these things out. You get to work through all of those feelings and thoughts. Just like I did with my daughter.
